Today was a special day today for Andrew. In our church, turning 12 for boys is a BIG deal. Since this is our only and oldest boy - it was a VERY special day. Andrew received the priesthood. In order to receive the priesthood, he needs to be living specific standards and continue to live those standards.He is growing up fast. I am proud of him for making correct choices and being such a good kid. We are truly blessed to have him in our family. He is kind, thoughtful, funny, dedicated, and smart.
His two little sisters love him to pieces and are lucky to have a kind BIG brother like Andrew. He looks after them and takes good care of them.
He is social and loves to hang with his buddies. Everyone loves Andrew and wants to be his friend because he is such a kind and thoughtful friend.
We are so blessed to have him in our family and be our son.
I hope he continues to be the kind of boy that he is as he progresses to becoming a man.
Of course, as his Mom, I would like to pause time and keep him from growing up.

Happy birthday Andrew! That is exciting! Wade and I have said multiple times how good of a kid Andrew is! We were also wondering if he was always that nice to his sisters!! My brothers were never that way to me! He is a sweetheart! Tell him we said happy birthday! :]
